Millhouse Slane Wedding Video (Andrea & Neil)

Last minute bookings for wedding videographers seem to have been a theme of this year for me. When Andrea and Neil got in touch 2 and a half weeks before their big day I was delighted, not least because it was another chance to go to The Millhouse in Slane. I’ve only been there twice now but if all Millhouse weddings are like the 2 I’ve done there then it’ll easily become one of my favourite venues.

From when I arrived for Andreas preps until the dancing in the Millhouse there wasn’t a dull moment. The ceremony took place in Clontarf, Dublin. We then made the journey through Friday afternoon traffic – rush-hour traffic isn’t fun for a wedding videographer trying to get to their destination in good time – to Slane. The journey was thankfully incident free and we got some great shots on the ground of the Millhouse before the call for dinner and speeches. Once the speeeches were done it was time to party with Mixtape entertaining the crowd 🙂  Below is their trailer…

Harveys Point Wedding Video (Eileen & Mike)

If their wedding video was up for an oscar, Eileen and Mike would be down for the best actor roles and Donegal and Lough Eske would be up for best actor in a supporting role. Amazing scenery with an amazing couple to match with the sort of weather that couples and videogrpahers dream of. Below is the trailer to their upcoming edit…

*Throwback Trailer* Finnstown Wedding Video

This wedding video trailer got a few likes recently over on my Facebook page so I had another look at it for myself and was suprised at just how well it has stood the test of time. I guess great weddings don’t go out of fashion. When I first put this wedding video up on Facebook it was a significant moment for Make My Day Productions as the reaction the trailer received was part of what convinced me that it was possible to make being a wedding videographer a full-time job (I finally did just that in 2015 just over a year later). Feel free to like other wedding video clips on my Facebook page to help me reminisce further 🙂

Trim Castle Hotel Wedding Video (Sarah & Aidan)

Rain, fun, laughter, a great couple, rain, an impromptu sing-song in a church and rain. These were just some of the ingredients to the wedding day of Sarah and Aidan. The ceremony took place in Glasnevin with the reception in Trim Castle Hotel. Below is the trailer to their upcoming dvd. Enjoy!

Mill Park Hotel Wedding Video (Sinead & Connie)

I don’t even know where to begin for Sinead and Connie’s wedding. Not only were they so excited to be getting married but every last person in the Mill Park Hotel hotel in Donegal, right down to the bar staff, seemed to be overwhelmed with excitement for them. Also I don’t imagine I’ll get to post many trailers that contain moments of (joyous) history. On that note many thanks to DonegalTV for allowing me the use of their referendum footage…. Right, I’ve said enough. Enjoy 🙂
