A Millhouse Civil Ceremony

Best of 2018 Wedding Videos

“Best Of” 2018

Best-of may be a bit misleading as it’s very difficult to choose favourites from what truly was a great year as a wedding videographer for Make My Day Productions.
However, the clips below should show how I adapt to each individual day and also tailor the edit to the personality of the indvidual couples and their day which is something I like to do as a wedding videographer.
I am always on the look-out for small moments. Whether they be moments of fun or moments of romance or small moments of affection show between the couple or their loved ones.
I don’t know whether it’s luck or that my work tends to attract the most easy-going couples who want nothing more than for their day to flow naturally.

Millhouse Slane Wedding Video (Andrea & Neil)

Last minute bookings for wedding videographers seem to have been a theme of this year for me. When Andrea and Neil got in touch 2 and a half weeks before their big day I was delighted, not least because it was another chance to go to The Millhouse in Slane. I’ve only been there twice now but if all Millhouse weddings are like the 2 I’ve done there then it’ll easily become one of my favourite venues.

From when I arrived for Andreas preps until the dancing in the Millhouse there wasn’t a dull moment. The ceremony took place in Clontarf, Dublin. We then made the journey through Friday afternoon traffic – rush-hour traffic isn’t fun for a wedding videographer trying to get to their destination in good time – to Slane. The journey was thankfully incident free and we got some great shots on the ground of the Millhouse before the call for dinner and speeches. Once the speeeches were done it was time to party with Mixtape entertaining the crowd 🙂  Below is their trailer…

Millhouse Slane Wedding Video (Marie & Fionn)

Public speaking is no easy task and not many people enjoy it. So usually at weddings there will only be 1, sometimes 2, strong speakers. At Marie and Fionn’s wedding no fewer than 9 people stood up to speak. And each one of them was amazing. The speeches were over an hour long and editing them was pure entertainment… who needs Netlix 🙂 Their trailer below will give you just a small sample of that…
