Portmarnock Hotel Wedding Video (Laura & Eamonn)

Time now for Laura and Eamonn’s wedding video trailer. In my final followup with Laura a month before their wedding, Laura said not to worry about the speeches as her dad and Eamonn were quite shy so there wouldn’t be much to them and that Eamonn was a shy sort of guy in general. Fast-forward to the big day and I was starting wonder if I was at the wrong wedding 🙂 I’m not sure if I’ve met a more outgoing groom and Laura’s dad gave a brilliant speech (as did Eamonn’s dad).

Haven Hotel Wedding Video (Claire & Ronan)

You wait 2 years to film a Waterford Wedding Video and then 2 come along at once 🙂 Having previously been in Waterford Castle this time it was a little further down the road for Claire and Ronan’s day in The Haven Hotel. It was a day in which the weather didn’t always play ball but still allowed us to get some great footage in between the rain (and wind!)

A Waterford Castle Civil Ceremony (Sonja & Jim)

Sonja & Jim’s wedding was a day full of laughter and fun with nervousness and emotion thrown in at the right times. All of this took place in the sunny Easter time backdrop of Waterford Castle. It was my first visit to this venue. I have to say I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I get another opportunity to work there sooner rather than later 🙂

Castle Durrow Wedding Video (Caoimhe & Niall)

As a wedding videographer you dream of filming in venues like Castle Durrow. That Caoimhe and Niall’s entire wedding day (from Ceremony to Dancing) took place there only added to that.

A very relaxed day surrounded by their family and friends and with the weather behaving itself reasonably well. It was a day to remember for all involved 🙂

Millhouse Slane Wedding Video (Andrea & Neil)

Last minute bookings for wedding videographers seem to have been a theme of this year for me. When Andrea and Neil got in touch 2 and a half weeks before their big day I was delighted, not least because it was another chance to go to The Millhouse in Slane. I’ve only been there twice now but if all Millhouse weddings are like the 2 I’ve done there then it’ll easily become one of my favourite venues.

From when I arrived for Andreas preps until the dancing in the Millhouse there wasn’t a dull moment. The ceremony took place in Clontarf, Dublin. We then made the journey through Friday afternoon traffic – rush-hour traffic isn’t fun for a wedding videographer trying to get to their destination in good time – to Slane. The journey was thankfully incident free and we got some great shots on the ground of the Millhouse before the call for dinner and speeches. Once the speeeches were done it was time to party with Mixtape entertaining the crowd 🙂  Below is their trailer…
